One of the things I love about gardening is the comfortingly predictable, cyclical nature of it all. Sometimes spring might start early, or be unusually mild, but it always follows winter and summer will always come next.
Easy does it: Getting back in the garden Plants and humans have quite a lot in common. We all like a bit of sunshine and the occasional drink, and when the weather warms up we all wake up from our winter snoozing
"There is definitely something to be said for the stripped-back simplicity of the garden in winter" says Greenpiece correspondent, Catherine Waddington.
