The offender is described as a black man, in his late 20s or early 30s, of slim/muscular build, between 5’6” and 5’10” tall with corn row/cane row plaits in his hair running from the forehead to the back.
He was wearing dark clothing including a zip up hooded top and carrying a handgun.
An investigation, led by Detective Chief Inspector Mark Ross of the Beds and Herts Major Crime Unit was launched in September 2010 and was described as a ‘targeted attack’.
Det Chief Inspector Ross said:” I am keen to hear from anyone who recognises the man or has any information that may help police with their investigation to contact the police”.
A man was shot in Olympic Close, Luton at approximately 10.30pm. Members of the public called the police after finding the victim on the pavement with three gunshot wounds.
The victim still remains in a serious condition in hospital.
