Three teens threatened to stab a 22-year-old man before stealing his phone and cash.
The incident happened at around 6.25pm on Thursday, June 14, as the victim walked through Wardown Park listening to his iPod.
He was approached by the three males who surrounded him and threatened to stab him before searching his pockets and removing a wallet, iPod and mobile phone.
The men removed £15 from the wallet and threw it back at the victim before forcing him to walk in the opposite direction as they made off towards the mini golf course.
Detective Constable Surfaz Hussain, who is investigating the incident, is keen to hear from anyone who was in Wardown Park at the time of the robbery and may have witnessed the attack.
The first man is described as being a black male, aged between 16 and 18, of slim build, around five feet eight inches tall, with short hair and clean shaven. He was wearing a dark grey hooded top with the hood pulled up and dark navy jeans.
The second was an Asian male, aged between 16 and 18, of chubby appearance, around five feet six inches tall, clean shaven and wearing a light burgundy hooded top with the hood up.
The third was also an Asian male, beteen 16 and 18 years old, of medium build and around five feet two inches tall.
