Detectives in Luton are appealing for information after a suspected shooting incident in Petersfield Gardens, Luton on Friday night (January 28).
At approximately 10pm police officers attended a property after a noise had been heard and a door was damaged.
On arrival damage was found in a glass panel and also in an internal door.
Scenes of Crime officers have attended the scene and completed a full examination of the area and officers have conducted house to house enquiries.
Detectives investigating the incident are keen to trace anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident.
Detective Inspector Martin Peters said: “Thankfully no one was wounded as a result of this incident, however, we do not underestimate the threat that guns pose which is why Bedfordshire Police does not tolerate this type of crime and will respond to incidents in an appropriate manner.
“It is important that any members of the public contact the police with any information they may have in relation to this incident. I would like to reassure anyone who has information that they can speak to the police, in complete confidence, and help crackdown on those who commit violent offences.”
