Is Bedfordshire’s top cop into rock music or trance? Does he support Manchester United or Liverpool?
You can find out the answers, and many more, when Chief Constable Alfred Hitchcock is held for questioning on ‘just about anything’ via Facebook this week.
People who have ‘liked’ the page will be able to put whatever they like to the chief, including topics such as policing in the county, his first five months in post or even about more lighthearted things like his sporting allegiances or music tastes.
Mr Hitchcock said: “We had a fantastic response to our pilot session and it was great to see so many people interested in the future of the force.
“I hope it offered the opportunity to allay any concerns about how we will continue to deliver a first rate service in the wake of budget cuts and I am very open to answering questions on how we plan to continue fighting crime and protecting the public going forward.” The session will take place on Thursday between 6pm and 7.30pm and further information on the session will be available at www.facebook.com/pages/Bedfordshire-Police/198708031310
