Tom Craddock has left Luton Town for League Two Oxford United for an undisclosed fee.
The striker was left on the bench for yesterday's 1-1 draw with Hayes & Yeading and not used despite Town pushing for a winner with half an hour to go.
A fortnight ago, the striker had told Hatters boss Richard Money that he had been 'tapped up' by an unnamed Football League club and asked to speak with them.
The Luton boss said nothing would happen unless an official bid came in. Then, as recent as Friday, Money said Craddock would not be going anywhere.

But in a late transfer deadline swoop the striker was prized away to join former Hatters Asa Hall and Simon Heslop, who both joined the U's in the summer.
A statement on Luton's website read: 'Everyone at Luton Town would like to thank Tom for all his hard work, especially that in the local community, during his time with the club and wish him all the success in the rest of his career.'
United boss Chris Wilder, said: "Tom is a player who we have admired for some time. He has pace, an eye for a goal and bags of ability.
"He has been a consistent scorer for the last two seasons and has done it at this level before. He is hungry for success and a great age and we think he will do very well for us."

Craddock becomes the third Luton Town player to leave the club in a week after Kevin Nicholls and Alan White left the club by mutal consent on Friday.
