If the bride and groom are the stars of the show then there are a number of supporting roles without which the running of the programme could go less than smoothly.

If you can rely on the assistance of a stalwart best man, a dependable bridesmaid or matron of honour and those towers of strength, the mothers and fathers of both bride and groom, then you stand a good chance of getting through the day in one piece.

You may want to keep an eye on everything yourself, you may even be a closet control freak but if you can delegate a certain amount of responsibility you'll save yourself time and unnecessary effort and won't end up feeling like a wrung out dish-cloth on the morning of your wedding.
