The cast of Cinderella
Christmas would n’t be the same without it. Oh no it wouldn’t. Nick Smith has been finding out about the wealth of performances across the area set to warm the cockles of your heart . . .
CINDERELLA
Luton Library Theatre
Now until January
PANTOMIME season is upon us again after Cinderella opened on Friday.
Produced especially for Luton Library Theatre, the festive fun will not be performed anywhere else, and is suitable for the whole family.
Directors Ben Miles and Harriet Hardie have been working hard to capture the magic of Cinderella in a time-honoured way.
Miss Hardie said this week: “We have just had our penultimate rehearsal for our first performance on Friday morning. I am very excited. I have seen it many times and still find it very funny. It will hold an adult’s attention, so it really is a pantomime for all the family.”
The talented team will be singing and dancing to a fabulous new musical score by established composer Rebecca Applin.
She promises a heady mix of toetapping, finger-clicking numbers and great upbeat, pop inspired show tunes.
Tickets start at £9. To buy tickets call Luton Library Theatre on 01582 547474 or order online at www.lutonlibrary theatre.com
