GO MAKE IT HAPPEN CHARITY AUCTION
Harpenden Public Halls, Southdown Road, Harpenden
Saturday, December 3, 7pm
ITEMS donated by Iron Maiden and Westlife will go under the hammer at the first Go Make It Happen Charity Auction.
Set up in memory of Sam Harding, who was tragically killed in a cycle accident in London earlier this year, Go Make It Happen aims to raise funds to enable children from disadvantaged backgrounds to take part in activities they would not normally experience.
The evening will be hosted by Chelsea FC’s most capped player Ron ‘Chopper’ Harris who will be recounting tales from the Stamford Bridge pitch as well as auctioning off a number of items from his past. He will be joined by comedian Mickey Pugh.
The evening will also include a silent auction with items donated by Iron Maiden, Scarceness Rugby Club, Fulham FC, Westlife, Team Sky and Adnams Brewery.
Spice of Caddington, one of the region’s premier Indian Restaurants, will be providing a two-course curry buffet to accompany the evening, offering sumptuous curries and rices.
The night will be topped off by Doog and the Chameleons who will be performing classic songs from all genres and decades.
Tickets for the Go Make It Happen Charity Auction are now on sale from gomakeithappenevent@gmail.co m or 07863 062137, and cost £30 per head.
However if a table of ten wishes to book for the event, a ten per cent discount will be given.
