Volunteers with green fingers needed for project

Volunteers are being sought for a community garden scheme in Lewsey.

As a result of public consultation, the unused piece of land in Ravenhill Way is set to be developed ‘by the community, for the community’.

With the receipt of a small grant and the generosity of various organisations and individuals, the development of a public garden and allotment has begun.

No experience is necessary at this free event and training opportunities, long and short term placements, are available with recognised accreditation for your efforts.

Activities will include garden design, nature conservation, ground maintenance and planting.

Children and young people under 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
