Doc Martin preview: Caroline Quentin guests in Martin Clunes’ comedy drama

Men Behaving Badly fans who are craving the opportunity to see the old cast back together are in for a treat tonight as former stars Caroline Quentin and Martin Clunes are reunited in tonight’s episode of Doc Martin.

Quentin plays local vet Angela Sim who solves one of Martin’s problems when she agrees to rehouse Buddy, who the doctor had become tired of being followed around by and had decided to have put down.

She claims that the dog was only handing around the vet because he knew he was lonely, much to Martin’s disgust.

However, she causes concern when she interrupts his therapy homework with Louisa in what seems to be a hallucinatory state after objecting to the doctor looking at a nasty cut on her hand which she would prefer to be treated by herbal medicine.

Meanwhile, Clive is suspicious of Mrs Tishell and who she might be cooking meals for while Ruth finds out that Bert has been trying to make his own whisky.

Elsewhere, Penhale makes the proverbial dog’s dinner of asking Janice out.

Doc Martin: Control-Alt-Delete is scheduled for broadcast tonight (October 5) at 9pm on ITV.
